Khammam: Noted magician Jadugar Anand wants the art of magic to be preserved for future generations.

He has appealed to governments in different States as well as Central government to extend their support to protect the ancient art of magic. Magic and tales of magicians have always been part of Indian folklore, he said.

 

Anand, the national president of All India Magic Federation, in an interaction with media persons here on Monday, said he would perform the feat of driving a motorbike with blindfold in Khammam on Wednesday.

 

He would start his ride at Bhakta Ramadasu Kalakshetram and would pass through flyover, Naya Bazar, bus stand, Wyra road, ZP centre, NTR circle, Yellandu crossroads, Mamatha hospital road and Yamaha showroom. It’s a 10 km stretch.

Similarly, he would camp in Khammam for about 15 days. He would perform magic at Bhakta Ramadasu Kalakshetram. There would be two daily shows with an additional show on Sundays.
